Call 425-462-2531 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you reach our answering service we’ll call you back as soon as we can to schedule your appointment.
l. Medication refills: We require three working days’ notice for renewals. Medications cannot be renewed on weekends, after hours or on holidays. For fastest service, please have your pharmacist fax the refill request to 425-454-6176.
2. Cancellations: We respectfully request that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment so that the appointment time can be offered to another patient who needs care. “No shows” or late cancellations are charged $25 and physical exams $75.
3. Referrals to other healthcare providers: To ensure appropriate referrals to other specialists or medical services, you will need to be evaluated first in person. It is your responsibility to find out if your particular health insurance plan requires additional preauthorization. Please check the back of your insurance card for helpful telephone numbers.
4. Phone calls: Unfortunately, we can neither accurately diagnose nor treat without seeing a patient in person. Also, we recommend that you make an appointment so that we can discuss your test results. This way your questions may be answered in greater detail and we can continue to discuss future plans of action. We will make every effort to accommodate urgent medical problems on short notice. If your healthcare provider feels that you must see Dr. Romanick on an urgent basis for an urgent consultation, please have your doctor call Dr. Romanick directly.
5. Visit length: Please share with us your medical concerns at the beginning of the visit. Issues brought up as the visit is coming to a close can result in our inability to deal with your concerns to your satisfaction. Also, this may lead to unnecessary waits for patients coming after you which, in turn, places additional burden on our staff to stay on schedule.
6. We do appreciate your patience in the waiting room. At times, Dr. Romanick may be held up due to phone calls from other healthcare providers, from the Emergency Room or urgent in-hospital consultations. We apologize for any inconvenience or extended wait time. Please be assured that we will be as comprehensive in your care when it is your turn to be seen.
